Rebecah MacGilleEathain – Senior Educator NHS Education for Scotland
Senior Specialist Lead at the National Centre for Remote and Rural Health and Care. Rebecah has worked for the NHS, Third Sector and Academic environments with a background in public health, youth health, reproductive and sexual health, blood borne viruses, and working with underrepresented groups.
Rebecah is an experienced mixed methods health researcher, with a focus on the health and wellbeing of remote rural and island populations, examining the influence of context and place on access to health support, in particular, the intersectionality of belonging to a marginalised group and residing in a rural area increasing the experience of health inequality.
