Funding
The Scottish Government have released an evaluation report into the Scottish Rural Network (SRN), part of the Scottish Rural Development Programme (SRDP) which delivers Pillar 2 of the EU Common Agricultural Policy (CAP) and is funded by the European Commission and the Scottish Government.
A group of Moray’s independent funders have come together to form the new Moray Funders’ Forum with the aim of making sure that available resources are getting to the right places.
Funding of £15 million is being made available to respond to children and young people’s mental health issues, with a focus on those brought about by the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic.
The funding will be distributed to local authorities to support a local response for five to 24-year-olds, their families and carers.

Economy Secretary confirms eligibility for more licensed businesses required by law to close or operate with specific restrictions.
Hardship and closure grants will be paid to bowling and other sports clubhouses which are licensed to serve alcohol.

A package of financial flexibilities and extra funding for councils which could be worth up to £750 million has been agreed by the Scottish Government in partnership with COSLA.
To address the financial pressures caused by the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic over the next two years, councils will be granted additional spending powers which could be worth around £600 million.

Fast-tracked funding to help local communities drive their green recovery from the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic has been announced.
The Community Climate Asset Fund will provide grants of up to £100,000 for projects supporting community climate action including those that boost energy efficiency in community buildings, and that enable the purchase of electric bikes and vehicles.

Fuel-poor households are to benefit from a further £16 million investment to improve energy efficiency in their homes.
The money will be used to improve insulation and install energy efficient heating systems, including those using renewable technology, contributing to Scotland’s net zero targets and helping to meet a key Programme for Government commitment.
